Meet The New Hampshire Voter: DonThe Debate Porridge crew talks with Don, a parking lot attendant for a presidential debate in Manchester, New Hampshire. Undecided about his presidential primary pick, (though resolute about the Super Bowl), Don Pernard, the voter – a staffer in the Manchester parking lot of a candidate debate – expresses concern about the Iraq War: “Unfortunately we’re stuck with the situation now. I don’t think we can just run right out of there . . . we can’t just leave them in shambles.” He says he likes John McCain but hasn’t firmly made up his mind. A CNN poll Sunday found McCain leading Mitt Romney 32 to 26 percent. |
